Race Track Hat
This hat was made for an ad for opening day at Del Mar Races. Another artist, Rebecca Fabares, and I worked together to build it in just a few evenings. Materials included foam, cardboard, spackle mixed with fabric paint, live flowers, money, and lots of race track trinkets. It had to be light enough for the model to wear. In addition, I provided wardrobe and styling for the model.
